About the Event
Join us at FabLab on Saturday 27th July 2019 to learn how to make video-games!
Women Making Games (WOMG) Mini Edition is a FREE afternoon workshop run by Lucy Smith, a local Games Designer who encourages and supports young women into the Games industry!
The workshop will include:
-Designing a game - who will be your main character? Where will it be set? What will your character do? What will the environment look like?
-Basic animation and programming in a free games development app called Stencyl
-Volunteers who are industry professionals to support attendees
-Catering for the attendees, coffee and tea for parents/guardians who attend too
